OOTD!!!

OOTD: This is one of my favorite  dresses. I just got it the other day, from a boutique a couple of towns over for 50% off, as it is going out of business.

I know it has been a while since I have posted but life has just been soooo hectic around here! I have family visiting and 3 tests on Monday, so I have been very overwhelmed... I promise to post more this week as the workload gets lighter.

Fall Essentials Continued....

Hey y'all! Today i'll be continuing the post on my fall essentials, but in this post it will be the top 5 things I am hoping to purchase, or that are on my wish list.

I am absolutely in love with this dress from Lilly Pulitzer! Its called the Cassie Elephant Dress, and it is such a cute option  for  any preppy republican on election day! I think I might have to have it as it is just so darn cute!

Talk about a bargain, this shirt is only $50 and it is silk! All of the silk button downs made by companies like Equipment are darling, but as a teenager I just can't  justify shelling out $200 on a silk shirt. This Joe Fresh shirt looks exactly the same and its a whole lot cheaper, I am defeniatley stocking up on these! 4 for the price of 1, I can defeniatley justify that!

Words can not describe how much I love these shoes, it was love at first sight! this shoe is so out of the box for Tory Burch, and I love how she decided to put the TB logo in the hair bow! I especially like how there is no scrunchy back as I own a pair of TB revas and they constantly slip off.

Ok so this shirt is literally the best. All of my guy friends have this style..... yes my guy friends because this is a guys shirt. I know this may sound weird but I absolutely love mens clothing, especially the preppy kind ! This shirt would look sooooo cute with skinny pant and boots because its oversized so you could tuck it in, belt it, or just leave it hanging. The options are endless!!

As Rachael Zoe would say " I die". This bag is literally the cutest thing ever, the scalloped edges and chain link strap are so adorable, and did I mention it is on sale!! This SEE By Chloe 'Poya' cross body also comes in black patent leather, I just can't decide which one I like more!

Essentials for Fall....

Fall is my favorite season fashion wise, because the color scheme is so great, not mention after August I can't wait until it is cold enough to start wearing my riding boots! So here are my top ten fall essentials. Five of them will be things I own and love and the other 5 are things I am hoping to purchase this autumn!

#1 Riding Boots











These are not my exact boots, but they are pretty similar. My Riding Boots are an essential in my wardrobe, you can dress them up or down and they are still so chic! I got mine from marshalls for 75% off, and they are made by Lauren by Ralph Lauren.

#2 Rugby Corduroys


















these Rugby cords are so versatile I purchased two pairs last year in  a dark red and green. I wear them so often, in fact just wore them the other day! They hold up well and the zipper on the side of the ankle is so fashionable!

#3 All Saints white shirt














Words can not describe how much I love this shirt! I purchased it on a trip last spring to LA, at the All Saints store and I absolutely adore it it. I don't know if you can tell from the picture but it has a chiffon bow that ties the keyhole back.

This red toggle coat is such an essential for me during the colder months of fall.  I got it from Guess a year to two ago and I still love it to this day! I would  pair this with skinny jeans a white button down and my black riding boots, very casual chic!

Now this is my favorite bag of all time, it's the Rebecca Minkoff mini MAC. It's like my child, I carry it with me  everywhere. It's color is so versatile along with it's style. You can wear it cross body, satchel style or you can double loop the chains to make it shorter! I love the color, but I must say I have my eyes on the hot pink one too!

Monograms Galore!

  Happy Wednesday!!

So  as I mentioned in my first post, I have an unhealthy obsession with monograms. To me monograms are so fun and preppy not to mention that they personalize everything and I have recently found some super cute monogramed items, that I am going to share with you!

This is a monogramed necklace that I got from Initial Reaction, it's gold vermeil and I absolutely love it! I decided to get the medium sized one because as I am only 5'4 the large one would have been to big and the small one was barely visible. At first I thought the gold vermeil would come of easily, but I have worn it in the shower, the ocean, and while I am working out and it still looks good as new.

These monogramed norts (nike shorts) are sooo cute! Especially with the pink and green they are just so adorable and preppy. I myself do not have my norts monogramed, but after seeing this picture on the pink and green prep I am absolutely smitten with them, and I am definitely taking my norts to get monogramed.

Ok now who doesn't want a monogramed bikini top? I found these on Etsy and I think they are to die for!! I especially love the blue one, which is odd because usually I gravitate towards pink and green but for some reason the blue one to me is just prettier. Even though summer is over this is definitely on my shopping list for spring break!!

I found this laptop case on Etsy and I ordered right away! they are gorgeous and your laptop will certainly not get lost, but the only down side is that the pattern is only printed on the front, so the back is black. Another thing to keep in mind is that you have to check the measurement as some say they will fit a 13 inch but they are meant for both 13 and 15 inch laptops. Other than that these are super cute and I totally recommend them!

Hey Y'all!
My name is Faith  and I have finally started a blog! I have always wanted to start a blog, and write about everything fun, preppy and girly, but I never had the time to set it up and post on a regular basis. To everyone who visits my blog you guys are so nice, and I hope you enjoy this post along with the many that have yet to come.
